The trail begins in Ribeira Funda, crossing vibrant green landscapes and dense vegetation. Along the route, we explore ancient watermills and follow freshwater streams that lead us to the panoramic Tio Domingos Viewpoint, offering breathtaking views over the Atlantic and the pristine Praia da Viola. We then descend to this secluded beach, known for its coarse sand, natural springs and wild coastline, continuing along a stunning oceanfront path until reaching Maia.
