Hiking Tour – Passagem das Bestas

This is a 4-hour hike that has a 4 km extension, in the center of Terceira Island. On this hike it is possible to observe marks of old cartwheels, that for centuries carried wood through the interior of the island, engraved in volcanic rock. Be surprised by the beauty of the Caldeira Guilherme Moniz (crater of a volcano) and fall in love with the endemic and invasive flora.
Discover breathtaking landscapes and allow yourself to relax to the sound of migratory and resident birds.

  • The weather in the Azores is very unpredictable and it can rain at any time of year;
  • There may be days with some fog or low clouds, which do not allow you to see the attractions;
  • For hotels located outside the city center of Angra do Heroísmo will be charged an extra fee per person;
  • Hotels pick-ups start at 09h00/14h00. Please give a tolerance until 10 minutes;
