Hiking Tour Half Day – 4 Lakes

We start our route in one of the most gorgeous places of the island, which is located between two lakes- Lagoa Negra and Lagoa Comprida. After taking some precious moments to contemplate this peaceful placem, we can start our journey that will lead us to Fajã Grande. We’ll follow the path that outlines Lagoa Comprida, which has a vivid green shore composed by endemic flora and some other plants that come from other parts of the globe and which adapted flawlessly to the specific weather of the island.

This trail also provides a fascinating experience of bird watching, and, if we get lucky, we’ll be able to observe birds flying to Flores Island making a stopover in our nature so they can rest between their journey. To complement our experience, we will then arrive at one of the most paradisiacal views of the island – Fajã Grande. Separating us from Fajã there is a steep path that has historical wealth, where the first steps of the development of this village began. Fajã is a cozy, but big in name and beauty. Upon reaching Fajã, the trail ends in an imposing waterfall with over 80m where an invigorating bath is allowed.
