Hiking Tour – Caldeira – Full Day

This emblematic crater is the best representative location of the local flora on Faial Island and one of the most protected areas in the entire archipelago.

Composed by different types of habitats, nature is still well preserved due to its remote location. It is only possible to discover this magical place with a certified guide for the caldera.

  • The weather in the Azores is very unpredictable and it can rain at any time of year;
  • There may be days with some fog or low clouds, which do not allow you to see the attractions.
