Terceira Island Tour – Full Day

Join us for an exciting full-day tour of Terceira Island. Begin your adventure by visiting the west coast and the heart of Angra do Heroísmo. Our first stop is the fishing port of São Mateus, where you can observe artisanal fishing boats and the preparation of “gamelas” for fishing. Next, we’ll visit Negrito Bay, a site on the whale route of Terceira Island. We’ll then head to the parish of Cinco Ribeiras for a delightful tasting of artisanal cheese. Enjoy a peaceful stroll around Lagoa das Patas and take in the stunning views from the Doze Ribeiras viewpoint. We’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll explore the city of Angra do Heroísmo on foot, with highlights including: Alto da Memória, Jardim Duque da Terceira, Palácio das Capitães Generais (entrance included), Sé Catedral (entrance included), Miradouro da Rocha, and Pátio da Alfândega.
